Leadership Conferences
The hyperlinks will take you to the conference website.
Sponsored by Willow Creek Association, we have found this to be a powerful conference for leaders. The strength of this conference is the wide variety of leaders who bring with them a wealth of knowledge in leadership. With over one hundred satellite locations this is a very accessible conference for most pastors. We attended the conference at a satellite location and we quickly forgot we were not on site at Willow Creek, clapping and responding to speaker's questions as if they were with us in person. What impressed us the most was Bill Hybel's heart for pastors and his passion for strengthening and encouraging pastors out in the trenches.
Sponsored by Ministering to Ministers Foundation, Inc., this is well designed retreat with qualified experts who have a heart for helping "wounded" ministers. The foundation seeks to be advocates for clergy and their families in all faith groups who are experiencing personal or professional crisis due to deteriorating employment or congregation-clergy relationships. Formed by a group of ministers who had experienced involuntary separation from their congregation, the foundation ministers understand the difficult road the conference participants are traveling. One of our ministry team members and his spouse participated in this retreat and said it was extremely helpful in their recovery process. (Scholarships are available through the foundation.)
Sponsored by Peacemakers Ministries, The 2009 Peacemaker Conference focuses on the theme “Church on a Journey.” This conference is designed to encourage, inspire, and equip you and others in your church to face threatening conflicts with gospel-centered, Christ-empowered hope, confidence, and skill. Peacemaker Ministries is lead by Ken Sande, author of "The Peacemaker: A Biblical Guide to Resolving Personal Conflict." This ministry is committed to equipping and assisting Christians and their churches to respond to conflict biblically.
Also known as the National New Church Conference, this is a fantastic conference geared towards supporting new church starts. Top notch leaders from across the country are brought in as main session speakers. In addition, the conference offers a variety of break-out tracks such as Pre-launch, Post-launch, Missional, Nuts & Bolts, Multi-Ethnic, and Reproducing Church Movements, led by experienced leaders that will strengthen your ministry skills. There is even a special track for church planting spouses, making this a conference couples can attend together! Above all, you don't have to be a church planter to benefit from attending. Seasoned ministers will be revived and energized. Being surrounded by new ministers and seeing their uncontainable passion, joy and boldness will awaken your God calling, giving you a new perspective on ministry.
Exodus 17:11-13
So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy.
Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other.
Thus his hands were steady until the sun set.
Be a part of our community!
